So pissed right now and it wasn't even my stuff that got stolen. Some low life broke into my brothers truck last night and stole his brand new muzzle loader. Just pisses me off that someone has the nerve to just take something that my brother has saved up for 3 years for. I'm just hoping the dip shit is to put it up for sale soon and gets busted.

Agreed. There's scum like that all over the place and leaving items like that in a car are simply eye candy to them. Don't give them the opportunity.

I would agree but it was under the back seat under his camo, still don't know what to think about it. Makes me think they knew it was a neighbor that saw him put it there or someone driving by. The neighbor thing would piss me off even more as we know most of them

Anything's possible and even thought it was out of sight, just don't leave it in the vehicle. You never know who's watching. Thieves case homes all the time before they decide which one to break into.

He lives on a county road with houses on either side, he had left the truck unlocked because he was planning on going to our weekly poker game but ended up not going so he locked it before he went to bed at 11. So in between about 9 and 11 they got into it and the truck was parked right up next to the house. Idk I'm just pissed because it has to be someone from around here and we don't know who. Could be any number of people we see every day.

Had my .270 short mag stolen outa my car couple years ago.... i was livid.... but never did find the arsehole... had about 2k into that gun

Keep your shit locked up. We have all had to learn that lesson. Some people think I am too paranoid, but I have learned that lesson the hard way. If we were rich, it would be different.

yep, and another lesson this taught him is to keep records. He didn't have the SN wrote down and no pictures of it either, all my shit is documented.

sometimes locked just aint enough, they hit the trans am with a slim jim and opened the passenger side door, didnt even bother to take the 8 boxes of hand reloads, just took the gun

Sorry to hear that. I had some stuff stolen this week as well. Not my own but my companies, still makes me mad as hell how someone can just take something that is not theirs. Because this a-hole decided to steal this stuff I was delayed a week until I could get it again.
