thats as close as I would get with my back turned
fucking kodiak is the fucking shit.
I caught 61 reds (salmon) two weekends ago and I have one freezer FULL of god damn salmon filets, and last weekend I caught 10 halibut, including one 75 pounder so I have another freezer FULL of wild Alaskan halibut that costs 19 dollars a pound back in Texas.
I got a small apartment attached to my house that I rent out to folks that come up to view bears and catch fish.
Im in the process of BEGGING a skipper to let me go on a commercial fishing boat this winter, Ill take a three day vacation from work and wont get paid to stay up 3 days catching fish in pots like they do on the crab catch show. I changed my mind, jad, cause its pretty much fucking awesome catching fish.
you cut up the scraps and dump them on the beach and wild Eagles come and eat all the fish scraps.
I saw this bear near a trash dump in Larsen Bay, on the west coast of Kodiak. Theres a Cannery that operates there full to the brim with russians and japs.
If anyone wants to come up and hang out, it would be well fucking worth it... just drop me a line.

It was a bad investment. Im sure im going to lose my ass once all the easy credit finally dries up. If you havent noticed, its harder for people to get loans lately and the interest rates are getting high. It has the apartment that I can live in while I rent the main shit, or I can live above the garage and rent the apartment AND the house.
I really had no choice because the coast guard gives a monthly rental allowance of 1000 dollars so anything worth a shit to rent is taken or has sky high rent.
The market is pretty much used up here. its an island, unlike the mainland where you live, where one can have as much land to build houses as they want.
youll see.

damn i love to fish , but I would have to say that , that bears head would look sweet on my wall. to hunt some thing like that would be awsome ......not just for the mount but for the honor , cause well even tho you have a gun , that tough SOB might just walk right through those bullets and kill you.... besides the sharks and the gators/crocs , those bears are one of gods top killin machines
