well since obama raised the tax on cigerrettes i decided to quit smoking not happy about it as i enjoyed it but tomorrrow will be 1 month smoke free thanks obama ahole but i guess its good for me to quit ive smoked since i was 18 and im now 30

How else is he going to pay for healthcare for the extra 12-20 million illegal immigrants he wants to make citizens? I smoke, I live in RI where we pay ~$3.46 a pack--IN TAXES--for cigarettes. I switched from Marlboro's to Pall Mall's, and will soon switch to nicotine gum, then hopefully nothing at all. Sucks because cigarettes, while unhealthy, are a welcome distraction, which is something we ALL need right now.

Just wait, he's going to try to take away our 2nd amendment rights next, be it by taxation, legislation, or tyrannical edict. Number 2 exists in case politicians ignore the rest... lets not forgot how this country came to be. End of rant.

Puttin a tax on YOUR cigarettes? No fucking way. This is unreal. In my opinion stick it to the man by stealing them from now on. That'll show them, we can slowly bankrupt them, $1 worth of tax at a time!

thats what really pisses me off healthcare for children dont mean to sound like a dick but everyone i know who has kids pays for their own healthcare because they have jobs
