Thank you GM...
I just wanted to say thank you GM for actually doing something worth a damn lately...
Many ppl consider the last few years of GM's attempts at salvation flop...
The GTO as we all know sadly fell through like a ton and a half of well... australian sheetmetal... the Equanox is horrid looking in my opinion... the slant eye silverado is a let down after 20 years of good looking trucks... the ssr isnt my cup of tea... the ss silverado... well it was a joke compared to a Harely f150... and im sure i could dig for more...
BUT... i must say my faith is comming back (i currently own 3 gms... soooo, they prolly want me to keep buying from them)... the new gmc trucks are HOTTTT!... the new vettes are worthy of the name... the new tahoes and avalanches are wicked looking... and i just saw another addition in a commercial today...
the GMC acadia... that is a pimp lil booger for what it is... yes its a FWD smaller SUV, but it looks great in my opinion... the lines are awesome from virtually every angle (sept that grey bumper, but it really doesnt look too bad), and the damn iterior is pimp as shit...
WAY to go guys... whoever lit a fire under your ass deserves a pat ont eh back...

Now, all they need is an affordable, powerful "pony car" that does it's own thing, and not follow the Ford and Chrysler.

I agree, I really like the new generation trucks as well.
It is a great time to be alive with the muscle car wars pt.2 heating up!

What about the '08 G8? Who else has seen that new RWD Pontiac? Too bad they are dropping the Grand Prix name, tho.

Gotta love Solstice and Sky too - good job beating Miata.

I'm glad to see them getting back into gear and bringing back the RWD platform.. mainly the Camaro Concept..

Or we could look at it this way...
The 04 GTO had decent looks, real meats 275s, and an LS6
The Solstice had a 4.8L, 5.3L, or better yet a 6.0L
The Hummer H3 had a 5.3L
The SSR had an LS7
The SS Silverado had the 8.1L
The Trailblaze SS doesnt get crushed by a Jeep SRT8.
The Cobalt has a turbo and some real power
The Avalanche, Tahoe and Suburban have a 6.0L standard and a diesel optional
The new Silverado had a 6.0L in a reg cab short bed, most towing, 6speed auto and doesnt come in third every truck test behind Titan and Tundra (see the latest popular mechanics)
And last but not least...the new Camaro is a $25k radio delete, steel wheel, solid 9inch axle, 450hp LSX that doesnt look anything like the concept car...which ive seen in person and it needs some serious help. A car for wanna be customizers..which seems to be the trend.
Disappointing year after year...all the toys and losing market share...2001 C5 A4 1SC FE3 G92....STS GT32s Wilwood Brakes
1998 WS6 M6 Callies 383 stroker
2004 Avalanche Z71 4.10s, AR TTST 18s

The Silverado won Truck of the year vs...Avalanche, Tahoe, Suburban and Ford Explorer Sport Trac....I wouldnt call that a win exactly.
I just saw an article that Jeeps has the SRT8s at 70% power in 1st gear and hennessey sells an upgrade for that to make it even faster. Of course their trannies suck..but winning is winning.

theres alot they could of done and can do but i think they are finally heading in the right direction. i personally love gm's powertrain and would never consider buying a ford or chrysler package.

Check out the Saturn version if you like the acadia, the Saturn looks tough imo and the upcoming Buick version is beautiful. I was driving next to the Saturn with its dual exhaust and I swore it looked better than any acura.
