test drove a srt8 300

my aunt is looking at cars and thought she wanted a charger so we went and looked at some r/t's... long story short they had like 5 srt8's on the lot and let me drive one... MAN that is one NASTY car... and with rebates and employee pricing prolly could have picked it up for like $35k...

didnt realize they were 5 speed autos.... and even for a big car it would pull pretty hard... it didnt feel like it pulled like the vette, but it might have been faster i dont know what they run 60 in...

i actually wish i could afford one... nice cars

seems like a 300 would be better than a Charger , the Charger just has no lines esp on a light color car . Also looks like you can see better out of a 300. Isnt both of the SRTs engines the same for Charger and 300???

i traded in my blown 02 SS and my maxima DD for this car, and love every minute of it. Sure it's not as fast, but it's roomy and has a ton of power.

FWIW the fastest i've seen a stock SRT8 run is a 12.64, and the 300's are averaging about 12.8-13.1 depending on track conditions. The biggest problem is launching on the 20's. 60ft times suck

I haven't taken mine to the track yet, waiting for some cooler weather.

Wow? U must not know fast... Those are big and slow. Yea powerful for it's class...but weak against a the ls1...especially a modified one.

Hah!!! I would like to see the time slip buddy or even a race on video. Talk is cheap.....let us see the video. SRT8 is a heavy pig with good horsepower in it's class.

what in the hell possesed you to trade in your blown 02 SS? i would kill for an SS and you traded it in on a 4 door? it is a nice car though.

i think that car, and a lot of other stock SRT's are going to be handing out a lot of ass whoopings to some stock LS1's.
