Looks to me like it will run about 5.4 @ 318... not bad, bit faster than my third gen.

Only God himself could drive a third gen up to 318 without some sort of explosion or something.

why don't you go to a mustang forum, This is for forum is for LS1's. I don't have a clue what the RUSTANG could run. Probly a 16.5 @80 mph or 12.8 @105 mph with a LS1 pushing it down the track

Green- 94 Camaro 3.4
That car won't be signifacantly faster than stock... a stock LS1 would take it.
That car was prepped with boost in mind to make its power... without the boost, its prolly only making 30-40 more hp.... If you don't have any more money to dump into the car, I wouldn't bother, you'd just be wasting a nice built engine.
You also didn't mention how much it costs...
But I'd guess it would run in the 14.0 to maybe high 13 range...
Which still wouldn't handle an LS1 in that condition.

I ran a modified mid 90's cobra in my spec v last night and i hung with him. My spec is fully bolted minus cams and midpipe putting down 191hp to the ground. My SS would have smoked that damn thing.
The spec is a low 14 second car. Go with the LS1....I've had to heavily modify my daily to even give me 1/10th of the feeling the LS1 gives.

Honestly thats not that bad of a mustang. I remember you saying that you were looking for a car for under 9 grand, so with a new motor with that amount of miles and those mods, sounds like a pretty good deal. Yea will be faster then a stock LS1, but it wouldn't take much for an LS1 to take it, so again for a mustang N/A thats pretty good. Deffently a sleeper IMHO

if you are gonna buy a mustang, get either a nice clean foxboy 87-93 preferably a 89-92, or a terminator. Personally i think the sn95 cars were junk, the 99-04 new edge gts are junk too. The 5.0s are easier to make fast then that garbage paperweight 2 valve. Unless you plan on using a real good supercharger that 96 is gonna get ass raped by an ls1 with a blind, deaf, mute, retard driving it.
