usually 24 hrs, depends on the size & location of the tattoo vs the mental toughtness of the individual getting the tattoo. Any where around nerve clusters are going to hurt fora little while. Getting drunk afterwards usually help me.

Hehe my first tattoo session lasted 7 or 8 hours and i feel asleep during it. It felt like a mild sunburn for the next day or so.

keep it moisturized so it doesn't dry out (/ruin the tattoo) and it won't be painful.

i have two about to get my third. make sure you keep it moist. like they said above. depends on how big mine wasn't that bad a day and a half after.
you could take a pic upside down and a little bit away no one would know there names just an idea.

lol thats the first website that comes to mind every time i get tempted to grab my camera and show you guys some pics. I dunno man. If i don't everybody will call BS so it's really tuff.
