Last year, at the annual Texas Mile meetup of the country's fastest street-legal rides, Barton's Supra out-tested a fleet of tuned Nissan GT-Rs and Lamborghinis, hitting 1,160 hp on the dynomometer, thanks to a combination of turbos and nitrous; on drag strips, the car had covered a quarter mile in 8:64 seconds.

The car wasn't just attractive to racers. According to Barton, thieves managed to swipe the Supra sometime between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. last Wednesday from Waterford, Fla. While auto thefts have been declining in recent years, more industrious thieves have turned to race cars and hot rods, since they're often built with more expensive parts and frequently lack the anti-theft or tracking devices built into newer models.

Bleh. Even if some rich old guy buys her an exotic, still doesn't replace a car you've put that much into over time. Hope somehow whoever did this is caught, for the sake of burning down another chop shop at least. Preferably with the culprits inside.

Who knows, maybe her next project will be a 4th gen f-body and she'll end up here for us to steal her pictures, screenshot conversations and claim to have had a thing going with her.

a chick who didn't build her own car and had a professional driver race it for her 9 times out of 10.

Just cause shes a model.....pretty plastic one at that.

I would be devastated if that happened to either one of my cars. I'm sure she will get something better.

Actually it was "driveable" on the streets but she didn't accomplish that very often. And shes a very active member on the Supra forum, go read it for yourself. I'm not hating, I felt really bad for her and even posted a thing on her facebook page wishing her and her car the best... until I started reading more and more and more about her and realized how full of BS she was.

And yes, women are very hating on other women.

Am I the only one who doesn't give a fuck about her and her supra or feel the least sympathetic for her? Maybe I am the only guy that feels this way

. Then again I despise supras and celebrities who are all proud of their rides and the work done to it. It pisses me off more when they act like they did it but 99% of the time they did not.

Honestly I think it is down right hilarious. I would hate for it to happen to me but it isn't like she can't afford to replace it. I'll bet she is fake and knows nothing about cars nor has any attachment to it whatsoever.

she is a model but she does drive it and race it 8's in the 1/4 she knows cars too, double d tuning is her company i believe and her boyfriend is also a supra guy but he did a 4th gen all his stuff is on tech his name is darin heres something i just found quick
