kinda like Rally cars but on the water .... Would like to see heads up racing in a course like that ..

That pretty sweet, looks like a lot of fun. Those things would probably be pretty damn fun on an open lake you could use the thing like a jet ski hopping waves and crap.

its kinda funny that the camera men cant even keep up with where the boats are going So how do the drivers know where theyre goin?

Its really cool to see but i really wonder if they have to stick to the same path as the others in the round or if they just have to stay in the channel for so many passes? i mean i know its a timed sprint but to remember that course at that speed would be crazy to say the least.

From what im reading, They get a few hours ( the dude steering ) before the race.
If you go off the predetermined course you are disqualified. There is definitely a set path for these boats.
I also read that there is just one large bar that the guys pull on if they get over turned in the water that releases them easily. Some of the veterans actually carry cans of *extra breath*
