I posted earlier in another section about my car surging at idle and bogging down during accl. Having troubles locating the problem. Changed fuel filter and tps needed to be changed anyways no biggie. I still have this problem, it also surges at crusing speed. Im thinking maybe a bad check valve on the fuel pump? i also check all vaccum lines all checked out good. At a lose, dis was changed out 6 months ago with MSD vented..... 1994 trans am lt-1 a4

Take it to a shop with a scanner and a good diag guy and stop guessing.

I tried to guess the topic of this thread, the two things that came to mind were:

1) The Coca-Cola product of the late-90's
and
2) An increase in troops in the Middle East

I dont have any ses lights flashing. Which made me think vaccum leak.

egr can cause surge and all sorts of funky sheet, eliminate it and tune it out!

im down to EGR, IAC valve , and ignition coil which is gunna need changing anyways.

Test vacuum leak with some intake cleaner around possible locations of a leak.

did just that tonight with intake cleaner nothing no leaks
