    The flyby around 1:20, none of the soldiers look like they have hearing protection on.

    What sort of damage can that do, that close?

    When your that close you feel it more than you hear it-absolutley awesome.
    Most blue angels and thunderbird shows don't get close enough where you feel the jet wash.

    I'm sure that's true, but it doesn't negate the hearing damage.

    85db is where hearing damage can begin

    120db is the threshold of pain

    Those flybys would be louder than taking off, and they were much closer than 25m.

    Actually I've been here since '01 and had a few thousand posts before the database got screwed up ... I was actually invited at one point to be the California moderator and turned it down ...

    And it's still meh ... I spent 8 years on flight decks and runways - jets are fucking annoying.
