    stupid question but

    how do you use detailer on your car i got some meguiars iltimate quik detailer and it doesnt really give you info on how to use it best...

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

    wash your car, then dry it.
    spray down a 2-3 ft area [typically a fender or body panel] with detailer, massage it in with a micro fiber towel
    spray down another area, massage it in, go back to the previous area and buff with a clean/dry micro fiber towel. Repeat.

    oh ok it said to wash after you do it and it didnt make since figured thats how thanks, and i waxs after i use detailer right?

    i love quick detailer, gives that great shine u only need for a night because its gonna rain the next day haha *i use it all the time when i need a quick shine on a friday night*

    like TSS said thats how its done.

    No. The best situation would be if you had a garage. Wash, wax your car, drive it, garage it, then later on in the week, if there is little or no dust on it, use the detailer between washes to elongate the cycle. I'm going on 3 weeks + w/out a wash and plan on quick detailing the Phoenix tonight to look good for the weekend.

    Otherwise-if your car is kept outside: wash your car, then use the quick detailer.

    alright thanks i thought you detailed it then wax after for it to look really good
