Streetable H/C/I LS1 puts down 522rwhp 440rwtq
Found this earlier today and thought I would post it here for you guys to see, pretty sweet.
This is what I call impressive, keep in mind, this is indeed a pretty expensive setup that this guy is running but DAMN. The fact that this car is on the stock bottom end + being perfectly streetable, while putting down the numbers that it does is just completely out of this world. Don't see too many N/A LS1 cars putting down the type of power this car does. Also, this car is an A4, if an M6 car had the same setup, it would put down even more.
Here's a link to a video

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
my Z28 has been on that dyno many times...
did 430rwhp, cam only.
good people at speed. They never worked on my car, just tune and sell me the parts.

Any idea what all he has done to it? Good numbers but I think I would just have thrown a D-1SC on it and called it a day.

I want to see the build sheet for this car! 500rwhp on an LS1 is doable but not by many and the fact that its an a4 is highly unlikly.... Only a few people have hit over 500 in an LS1.
Also... streetable?? That thing has to have a big cam.

That's ridiculous, I'd like to know the mods as well.

I've seen a few do this. One was an 02 Z06 vette through the IRS suspension no less.
Stock short block with 11* ETP heads, custom cam, Fast intake setup. With a good head and the right cam it's doable on a 346 and still streetable. Just not many that want to spend the money to get it there.

Glad to see a lot of "Speed Inc" lovers........
They are the ones that are going to do my dyno tune┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐
Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
Me: That is why no one will remember your name!

I found out who it was, a guy name Chris, I bought my Yank converter from him. He really knows his stuff and how to make a quick N/A car.
Anyone seen his ram air mod. It's amazing how much power he's picked up just by making a better air intake.

I had them install my line-lock, Strano springs and Koni shocks. Their prices for that were pretty decent. Other things though they are pretty high on their quotes.
Ever since the install of the line-lock though, my battery continues to go dead. I am guessing that they didn't wire the solenoid through a fuse so it draws power even with the car off...
I'll be trouble-shooting it this weekend myself now. This is only a guess at this point, but this started after the install so I am attributing it to that right now.Last edited by 35th-ANV-SS; 04-08-2011 at 08:59 AM.

I've never dealt with them on a personal level (I always do my own work) but I have bought parts from them before.
As a matter of fact I'm dealing with Tom right now. Been in contact with him about buying an LS1 SFI flexplate. Evidently they have been on back order for a while and aren't due in until the 16th.
He's been up front with me and even offered a refund if I couldn't wait. Seemed nice enough to deal with. No complaints here so far.Last edited by Firebirdjones; 04-08-2011 at 09:32 AM.

Good to know, thanks! They are about 99 miles from me and usually quite booked since I've talked with the tuner there (Forgot his name) but they seemed to know what they are doing. I've bought parts from there and been happy so far. I don't want to have someone else fuck my car up

I've gone to some of their crazy open houses awhile back and they seemed like nice guys. Straightline is only 20min away so I let them tune my car.
