hell no... think about it... settlement is just that... can't go back and sue later on down the road when that injury that you thought was fine becomes a problem... all the medical bills come out of your wallet then...

wonder what would've happened if that would've been someone hunting? They would've been charged with attempted murder, facing a lawsuit, and a big list of other things.

bump that dudes. he got hit with a friggin bullet. that was unbelievable negligence on the police gunrange's behalf with either extremely poor shooting, or safety issues that should really be inspected on that range. why do the cops get a get out of jaill free card on this? no pun intended. Anyone that wouldnt sue after that is jus stupid, and i'm not thinking with the mentality of a "lets get rich" scheme. As spaz said, what if he develops health concerns/issues later on down the line and the police force jus paid out the 100k you thought was gonna suffice. You could end up with huge medical expenses that you have to pay for over something that was not your fault at all.
