Stolen GT-H

This is crazy. A guy that lives a couple of houses down from me has had one of those GT-H Rental cars for about six months now. At first I couldn't figure out why he had it becuase I had read that you can't buy them, they are only available for rent through Hertz. So I finally decided he must have made a GT-H clone or something. Anyways, he did a lot of mods to it exhaust, intake...

Well today, I watched the cops come to his house, handcuff him, throw him in the back of a cop car, and take him away. I stood outside for a long time listening to the cops talk to the guys dad to see what was going on. When the tow truck finally showed up and the tow truck driver was talking to the cops I heard him ask what was wrong with the car and why he was picking it up and the cop said, "Failure to return rental. Its a rental car."

So long story short, my neighbor stole one of the GT-H Mustangs and is now in jail for car theft. Just yesterday, even though I have never met him before, we were messing with each other when I was driving next to him in my T/A. But hes had the car for atleast six months now.

I wouldn't say there is anything great about the Mustang. (I would take one though if I could have it.) I just thought it was crazy that my neighbor, only like two houses down, has had a stold GT-H rental car for more than six months now without being caught.

Thats for sure. But I don't think it helped him any when he had it. I think he might have been kind of a loser. He's atleast 25 and still lives with his dad...I mean lived...He lives in jail now.

Your correct. Its just a special rental Shelby Mustang that you can get from Hertz. There are very few of them. There were a few back in the 60s also.

The GT-H is a throwback to the old shelbys in the 60s that hertz had during there rent a racer program. They brought it back because as well all know shelby and ford are suckin each others dicks right now. THe car is mostly appearance BUT it does come with the Ford Racing Performance Parts handling and power package. This is 3.73 gears, cold air intake, computer flash, headers, shocks and struts, sway bars, and i think a panhard bar. basic bolt ons that probably make the car a kick in the pants to drive. Hertz is selling their rentals after they hit 15k miles. They are going for quite high prices. A version of this car can be bought from the factory. This model is known as the Shelby Gt. I hope this clears things up on the actual car.

Thats what I was thinking, but it has Arizona plates on it. And when I looked at my picture I realized it even had the "PERM" stickers on the plate that all the rental cars and trailors and stuff have.

just like just about every other "uplevel" mustang...which is why i hate them all...no matter they do to it...it's still just a mustang.
