White- 1999 Transam WS6
Stock form, same price, what beats an ls1 fbody?
Been wondering this lately, but what cars, in the same price range throughout the recent years( think 90's+), can compete with the ls1 fbody stock for stock? Considering pure straight power speed( I know other cars can rape us on handling).
Mach 1/cobras(what were the price range new anyway)?
I know none of the standard mustang GTs can compete except maybe the 05+ GTs.

Honestly almost nothing. All depends on miles when used but from the dealer when new nothing really came close.

Black- 1987 Regal
Nothing still does really. A new fully loaded SS/WS6 was what $26-30K? Nothing for that price today can really match the LS1 cars/

Next time you're shopping for a new vehicle, look me up and I'll go to the two dealerships I know have great pricing - hell, I'd even drive it out there for you, and fly home. Lots cheaper than having it transported!
It sounds like that route would've saved you a TON of coin!
