Actually, this is a good question. I always loved Steven Segal's early movies, when he first came out. I thought Aikido was wicked, the way they coreographed the fight scenes. My favorite movie of his was Marked for Death. Chuck Norris was OK, I never thought his fighting was anything really special, but I did love some of his earlier movies when I was a kid growing up back in the early to mid 80s. A couple of my favorite Norris flicks were The Octagon and Lone Wolf McQuade. Jackie Chan I never much cared for his goofy fight scenes, just my opinion. Jet Li is awesome, and he is probably my favorite karate/kungfu guy of the present day.

I would love to see a movie with multiple karate stars.. wouldn't it be awesome to see a flick with Seagal, Jet Li and Chuck Norris? Fuck that would do real good at the box office for sure. Too bad all of these guys have egos that are too big, otherwise you would see more movies like this for sure. That is one thing in Hollywood come to think of it -- you don't see many movies with 2 or more top action hero in them. Like a Stallone and Shwarzenneger film back in the day would have been a real treat. Even Jean Claude Van Damme pairing up in a movie with Steven Seagal, I would love to see that.

Anyway as far as the OP question on who would win, I would have to go with Jet Li! Still, Steven Seagal could probably do some good damage too. I heard he used to fight back in Japan in the underground competitions, and apparently he was very good at that. And wow, wouldn't it have been something to see what would have become of Bruce Lee if he lived another decade or two.

Chuck Norris would win. He has power, technique, and pure fighting ability. Steve is too slow, and Jet Li/Jackie Chan don't have any power, sure they are quick, but one good shot to the jaw and they will be seeing stars.

He did have some amazing fight scenes. I think at the time his movies started coming out, it was probably the first time audiences were widely exposed to Aikido fighting in a major Hollywood movie. I loved the way he uses his opponent's energy against then, like when someone would attack and Segal would do some quick move to the side and push the person in the direction they were going (into the wall or a window!). This is what makes Aikido what it is, apparently one of the toughest martial arts to learn.

    Jet Li - Dancer

    Jackie Chan - gymnast

Chuck Norris - old skool McDojo karate with a powerful kick

Steven Seagal - out of shape former bad ass

On the street in a no holds barred fight Steven Seagal, fat ass and all, is killing everyone of them. The pretty karate moves don't win fights, the ugly submission holds do.
