Standard in police vehicles, PA systems or loudspeakers?
Some of you might guess what national news story made me think of this. I think almost all of you know more about being pulled over this century or pulling people over than I do. If a police vehicle is pulling someone over, doesn't the cop usually have the ability to broadcast his or her voice for everyone within yards from the scene to hear it? Unless there's bad hearing or loud music or things like that.

I think they do, I don't why they don't use it more often. Maybe the cops don't want to use the loud speaker because they don't want every body to know whats going on.

Did your sock puppet get pulled over and ordered out of the vehicle for being an atheist?

That ongoing nuisance had no run-in I know of, and I don't think that person is willing to drive much or has any sticker announcing atheism (because probably a mild believer).
It was because I've heard too many stories (three this month) of people being tailed by the cops and not knowing if they're in trouble or what to do and why police don't just announce their orders. I accept "I don't know" as the answer here. Maybe I'll hear a cop explain someday.Last edited by clovenhooves; 04-29-2021 at 11:20 PM.
