SS and the porsche boxster

Well i was on my way to pick up ice for the nursing home that I work at because our pipes have frozen and the ice machine no longer works... kinda sad. Anyways i hit a red light and notice out of the corner of my eye a man trying to get my attention.... I roll down my window and notice hes drive the slowest production porsche made and give him a shit eating grin as he compliments the SS. Starts giving me shit about the big 3 going under and talks up the forigen auto market and the quality of product they produce... As the light turns greeen he revs his matchbox car all the way and just rides the clutch out? So i decide hes not worth it... We get to the next light and his shit talking increases 10 fold... keep in mind im only 22 and this guys gotta be in his early 50s. At this point i hit 7 grand on the SS and roll up my window without saying a word. Light turns green and we are off. i broke loose in 1 & 2 but was still a nose ahead of him when i hit 3,4,5 i was pullin at about 110mph i let off after spaking his "sports car" and of course i see him gainin on me about to do the old "got my ass handed to me" fly by. moral of this story dont run ur mouth if ur car cant back it up and never fu*k with the bowtie

you revved out to 7,000 rpms at a light and then dumped the clutch to race this guy? What is done to your car??? For a Porsche boxter to even keep up I am assuming that it is stock in which case you would be very very lucky you didnt break the car. and then hitting 5th gear before you hit 110 mph? I know I dont have an M6 so I may be wrong but shouldn't you be somewhere in the 4th gear range at that point...

dude i reved back at him, and its winter time... like i stated i broke loose in 1 and 2 so i took it a little easy and its pretty much stock besides gmmg cat back, slp underdrive and no he didnt keep up

Boxster........I don't like cars that you have to really look at to see whitch end is the front! Then, you see the single tailpipe (2 merged ones if it is an "S") in the center of the rear, this looks like the cars butthole. Not sexy.

no tune? cause you would also have been pinging at the rev limiter. not to mention whether you are launching or not you would still risk floating a valve at 7k rpms. basically it was my nice way of saying your kinda full of crap with your story. No doubt it happened since the boxter is a big POS but your story tellin is a bit off.

why are you in 5th gear at 110mph? that's near the top end of 3rd gear for an M6 car w/stock gears, and pulling like you just called the girl you're f*ckin, the wrong name...

btw, no stock Ls1 revs to 7k either without leaving some valvetrain layin around or waiting for it to fall back down from the atmosphere...

street racing is better b/c you don't break stuff like at the track, duh!

ok wow, maybe it was a 6 rev, whatever i wasnt look at the tach i was loking at him and yes i hit the rev limiter. that was my first race in a M6 sorry im not on ur level yet and am still learning the ins and outs of my car. i dont like being near the red line when racing or getting on it because its still mostly stock internally i believe so until i get on ur god like level of racing be constructive with when giving me crap, like pointers what to do next time. thats the only reason i joined the forum was to figure out what to do to the car and how to do it right
