2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
Sorry, but I would never modify a Special Edition car...I would drive it, but I would not modify it, not even the exhaust or air lid.

I know some people think it's crazy, I wasn't going to and then ........ I decided it's my car and i'm going to build it the way I want it. I'm not getting rid of it so I might as well make it do what I want it to. Their made to be driven, I say.
Love your TA though, had a black 2000 ws6 bought new but sold for a GN. Now it's gone and have the anni.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
You'd be suprised at what they did to those back in the day.
The reason for the COPO cars was so Chevy would be putting 427's in the car so the dealers didn't have to put a crate engine in in place of the 396. For 67 and 68 all you could do was buy an L78 (or L89 with Al heads) car and swap the short block (heads, cam, intake/carb and accessories were the same as an L72)
The reason they made 69 ZL1's in 1969 was because you had to make a minimum of 50 production cars to race NHRA stock class. The reason they came with steel wheels and pie pan hub caps is cuz that was the cheapest way to go (and they didn't stay on anyway). The alum block was the biggest and lightest engine in the lightest car concept.

I put a 2.4 DOHC Vtec in mine. It is the entire reason I needed the VFN Sunoco Hood.
