southpark mohammad controversy
in quick, after making fun of all other religions, south park gets threatened by muslim activists....anyone else think this is bs? I know the activists are protected under free speech laws, but shouldnt there be a limit? And isnt it somewhat hypocritical of him as well, and
that south park should be covered under teh same laws?

I'm a little disappointed with SP. I thought they would stand up against Comedy Centrel and show the uncensored version. Grant it they do show the stupidity of the level of censorship that has become when dealing with this subject.
Their main problem is that they are getting threaten by groups that are outside of the U.S. and are not subject to U.S. law until they enter into the country. But who is to say that some crack pot that is in the U.S. can't do something. Hell even Louis Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam might send somebody to visit.

i just think there should be a limit to what these people are saying...the guy saying that 9/11 was justified for example. Then in the article they wrote to sp and saying they'll probably end up dead. I think that that statement right there should be closely watched. Then also how they claim to be peaceful, yet the guy clearly says they're commanded to terrorize... . I just dont think people should be let off the hook so easily with what they say. i mean it's not like sp killed or did anything that's condemnable by death in the show

Blue GMC Canyon- trans ams gone now
i can understand being a peaceful person but also putting up a fight when its NECESSARY but this guy makes it sound like the slightest thing can be taken offensive to them so they go out and threaten people and kill or hurt or take from the resources of someone else's land. the same things he says he doesnt want done to him. yet these things arent done to him, he just wants to try to wrap a ribbon on the subject so he has a good reason to fight back with hate. he's hypocritical and i think his threats should land him in some serious trouble. you dont threaten people with death just to get your point across, especially over something so juvenile

Remember guys, Islam is a "peaceful" religion. How many threats did they get from Christians over their episodes making fun of Jesus? Looks like they pussed out and are showing the censored version.

I don't think Matt and Trey censored the episode. The episode was already written, It was probably Comedy Central who edited it. I think the whole thing is hilarious! South Park is the only show with balls enough to even TRY something like this. I wanna see that liberal douche Seth Macfarland leave his "comfy conservative bashing chair" and try this. I say fuck those worthless towelheads who are issuing death threats! This is The United States of America, where NOTHING is free from criticism! It does'nt matter who you are, where you are from, what your religion is, how much money you make, or what color your goddamn skin is SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE is gonna rip on you for it!

Umm Seth already has without a censor block or beeping of his name. Trying to find episode now.
It has come out today the Comedy Central has censored the episode and will not allow it to be posted on their website. Makes me wonder if they will allow it on a DVD release or does CC have rights to that too?

lol
If they were true "terrorists" they would just do something right out, instead of being loud mouth tools on the internet.
Also I think the entire idea of the situation is fucking ridiculous.
It's against your religion to depict your god? Okay, sweet, then don't and all shall be well.
But feeling that those who aren't of your religion should follow your same beliefs, or face retribution? What the fuck? Do they even know what a religion is? Do they spend all of Yom Kippur in a fucking synagogue so as not to piss off Jewish people? I suspect not so IMO they need to get bent.

John Stewart was making fun of it on his show last night. Gotta love it when your own hosts are making fun of you.

I just watched the censored version of it. I had to watch it boot legged with commentary from the recording person.
That's an awesome revealing for Cartman's father.
As for the censorship and the "I've learned something today..." speech being completely censored... that's lame. I wonder if that's a publicity thing?
