No surprise there. Before they said it, I was figuring weight would be the main difference between these two. I didn't realize the new Z06 could do a 3.6 0-60... daaaaaamn.... That is supercar performance, as good as any $250k exotic but at 1/3 the price. Go American know-how bitches!

the new 5.0s...looked at one today $36,860
    412 horsepower...and 300 pounds lighter than the 2011 Camaro

Yeah, in the new 'overweight retro' pony car division, the new Mustangs are looking stronger and leaner than the rest...

I've been a diehard GM guy for along time and I would buy the 5.0 over both the Camaro and Challenger.

IMO vette and stang aren't competitors... and if you look at the current car and driver lightning lap.... the Z06 with the Z07 option is the best bang for the buck on there!!!

A regular mustang isn't in the same class. A GT500 however is a pretty close competitor for the Z06 or was built to be one anyway

It still has at least 500 hp. Is a Supersnake(750hp) in the same category or is it a class above the vette?

From a performance standpoint I fail to see what the number of seats has to do with anything. Like is a regular cab pick-up in a different class as an extended cab? See my point or no? Either way its all good.

When its a video comparing their performance abilities horsepower is a big factor. If they're deciding which one makes more sense if you have a couple rugrats and only enough money for one than yes seats are important. Fair warning drinking has begun so I suggest you start drinking or this will become a tedious conversation. lol
