Woke up and read the paper in shorts and a t-shirt on the deck. Washed and waxed the car, grilled up 14 bacon n cheddar burgers for me, the in laws and neighbors, played 3 rounds of horseshoes, and cut down and burned some tree branches all in 70 degree weather. Picked up a sunburn while I was at it. Oh yeah, it's January..............in Philadelphia. And screw all you warm weather guys in the south and west, I don't wanna hear the bragging about having this weather all year round. Global warming and El Nino are the shiznit as far as I'm concerned

T shirt and shorts today while I was cleaning out my car. On christmas eve I was wearing the same thing and cruising with the T-Tops off. I know I live in the south, but even here in north Georgia its usually not this warm.

Today I woke up at 0500, felt a nice chill in the air, showered and went out to scrape ice off the windshield at 0600. Drove to the Reserve center in the cold ass morning.
Worked on Navy stuff all day and drove home in a cold wind.
Some of the Snow melted, but most just blew around.

Tomorrow will be an almost exact repeat.
No Bacon and Cheddar burgers (Sound really good), no porch sitting in shorts.

Been warm here too, relatively speaking, about +10 Deg C here today, normally -5 Deg C. No snow, but the City workers must be bored because they are still pounding the sand & salt to the roads, pain in the ass trying to keep the vehicles cleaned off.
Did the dreaded garage & tool box clean-up, sorted tools, sockets, nuts & bolts & other car parts. Nice to have the work benches cleared & tools put away properly.

I grilled just regular burgers today. I worked the grill over pretty hard the last 2 weekends so I wanted to do something plain and simple today. Hard to beat the taste of a good burger grilled over charcoal.
Thanks to global warming Ohio is the new Florida.
