Sooo Today I Quit Smoking

New Month and im going to make it so i don't smoke!...

Today it was weird but when driving to work i could smell a whole bunch of things i never smelled before...

this auto place it smelled like bondo driving past which was pretty cool..

when i have been doing is sippin on coffee and chewing gum... and on here kinda trying to keep my mind off smoking... so wish me luck!

haha ya well i have always been a big hunter... and smoking is effecting my hunting abilities and hiking abilities... plus i just can afford that shit...

Good luck! I quit 3 years ago. I just put them down and never picked them up again. It's nice having a sense of smell again. I'll be honest with ya, I still jones at least once almost every day.

FYI: I was a smoker for ~35 years.

WOW thats a long time, and for u to just quit is amazing.

i've been smoking since i was 15... i quit 8 months ago... i still want one to this day...

i did that once a few years ago in an attempt to quit smoking... worked fine... that stuff tastes like shit... (yes i swallowed my own spit and it played hell on my ulcer)...

the thing is you will only quit if you want to... doing the "oh my doctor/wife/GF etc etc... said i should quit" isn't going to make it work for ya...

ooohhh thats so gross!
ur whole mouth gets gross and chewed up, ur skin like falls off inside ur mouth, thats so gross. thats way worse then smoking.

smoking also causes mouth cancer... just at a bit slower pace...

Do you have medical coverage? Some places like Kaiser offer "support groups" to help with quitting....they even ease you into it with some drugs. It's free if you have insurance so i'd look into it if you're serious about quitting. My dad did it and he hasn't smoked in a few years..

Keep up the good work! Quitting smoking is a very hard thing to do; I wish you the best of luck.... I've been smoking for about 11 or 12 years now & am getting to the point that I'm going to have to give it up...
