it was a true penality, UT touched him. but the penality against OU for the "late hit" on Colt was also a true penality. Colt did trip, but a defender can not still have his hands on a player 5-6 steps outside of bounds, he should have already let go by then.

both times onthe "late hit" penalties the ou defender was trying to STOP the ut player from falling down. replays showed it was obvious. and then that bullshit call that took away the OU interception in the texas endzone was crap also. but ohwell. its just a game

disagree. OU played good. UT just wanted it more towards the end.

and it could totally be seen that the defender wasn't trying to tackle him, but again...you just can't have your hands on him that far outside of bounds, the offence will take advantage of that call. the INT was a bad call, but only resulted in a +3 advantage, you could argue that OU could have scored off the INT, but that's speculation. UT could argue about the first TD, which, if overturned, would have been 4th down i believe, with OU to decide to go for it, or kick a field goal. it's just a game, OU is not out of the title game, they can easily get back in. it's almost midway through the season, title game is still up for grabs.

The interception call made sense to me.
You have to maintain control after falling to the ground on a reception.
Of course, I could be wrong, maybe I am thinking of the NFL rules.

I didn't think that the punter was interferred with. Seen much more contact not get flagged.

The late hits on McCoy were bad calls.

both teams played well. it's what we expected as UT fans. i know some outsiders were expecting a blow out, and it almost seemed that way 14-3. I must say...UT's running game was crap, until the fourth quarter...which did well on 3-4 plays.

only reason those 2 penalties were called were because it was on the UT sideline.

true, the first OU td was questionable.

like u said, its just a game.

    no hard feelings towards anyone

in college, in the end zone, the ground cant cause a fumble. he had possesion until he hit the ground.

there was a late hit called on the OU QB, which seemed like the same amount of elapsed time for the late hit on Colt, sorry if that sounded confusing, so no...i didn't consider that too much of a bad call. it did seem like an INT in the endzone, for the NFL, the play would have been over after a successful catch was pulled to the ground without losing control. idk about college, but you may have to have full control even a few moments after the catch to the ground, in which the defender just released the ball. so i'm not sure how the college rule reads.
