1997 Grand Cherokee- 1999 Firebird.
Some random pics I took this past weekend....
These are about 80% of the original size so the quality isn't 100%. Canon XSi 12.2mp w/ 18-55mm kit lens.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
I was looking at an xsi but the sales girl pushed me to a Sony a300. dSLR's are so much better than point-n-shoot. I actually bought a canon xs10 and returned it b/c the pix were terribly grainy even on the best settings. I'm happy with the sony now. Those pix are nice and crisp, man! love the color saturation!

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
The XSi is an incredible camera.
That is what my friend bought in place of the 300D I got from him.
Just curious...I have to reduce my pics to 25% of original from a 6.3MP SLR to get them on the web so they are viewable.
What quality setting are you using on the camera?
Shooting in RAW and adjusting?

Shooting in raw sucks b/c you have to process it. Just shoot in jpeg

I'm using the setting just below RAW. It's the highest quality JPEG setting on the camera. I upload everything to my FLICKR account then post the pics from there. FLICKR reduces everything if it's over a certain size. I've never shot RAW but I want to try it!

How do you like that camera? I'm looking to get one for Christmas and I'm leaning towards this one or the regular Rebel XS.

Get the XSi!! It's worth the extra money. You won't need another camera for a loooong long time! You'll want a different lens though. The 18-55mm lens that comes with it is ok, but it gets boring after you start to learn how to really use the camera.
