spice red metallic- 2006 GTO
Some people are never satisfied
I find it amusing that people will spend up to $30,000 (based on what my new GTO cost) on a car, pour several thousand dollars more into the engine and complain that GM puts weak Tranny's, rear ends, etc. in their cars after they beat the PI$$ out of it drag racing on the weekends. If you want a higher performing car than a Camaro, Firebird or GTO then buy a Vette or Viper to begin with. Also remember that even the high dollar exotic cars from Europe and Italy break down and look at what the initial cost is to own one of them(not to mention what an oil change costs). Another thing I find puzzling is people who butcher their cars to save a few pounds so they can go .1 second faster in the quarter mile?

I don`t bitch either but modify the parts that will break first, then induce massive horsepower.

Just curious to see some replies. it's all good as long as you realize the price you pay to come out and play.

spice red metallic- 2006 GTO
:slapboobies: I wouldn't exactly say that stock sucks, my GTO got up to 160 pretty fast the other night. It had Pedders shocks and springs but everything else was stock. Having said this I did put a Borla catback on the other morning and would like to find a good cold air intake to help lean out the factory tune a bit. Good grief, I'm starting to sound like the rest of you!!!

I was dissappointed when the half shafts in my gallardo broke.
Didn't really bitch but cried about the 11,000 dollar repair bill.

Nah...I know what he is talking about...on GTO specific websites you got a ton of people who traded in their Camry and Accords and got a Goat....they know absolutely nothing about muscle cars or drag racing....come to think of it the majority that post on those sites are knuckleheads....so they get on a GTO specific web site and it is just painful reading these guys post....bitching about shit all the time...clueless of what it takes to build a muscle car properly.....I hear ya man...and undertstand you've been reading one of those sites haven't you
And for the record I could have 2 (two) fully loaded 2006 GTO's sitting in my garage for what I have in 1 (one) 2004 GTO....why....cuz dayum I love to fucking fly...that's why

About the only part I can bitch about is the stock rear on the f-body. The 7.5" rear is a POS and should've never been put in that car. I do see a ton of people going power first and then tearing the drivelines out of their cars. What bothers me is someone that's doing mods to their car and has virtually no clue how the thing works. The bottom line is if you mod your car you will have to work on it at some point.

Yeah, my car is just like my wife. Always wanting more more more. And if she's tired of it, she'll break something else so I have to buy a new one. Then again, she prolly knows that I want to get a new Goat for my stable or finish building the 85 Z28 in the back so she's being a sadistic whore by breaking shit so I have to keep dumping money in her and not be able to afford a new car or finishing the other. What a bitch! Ok I'm done. And yes, I would've been able to afford a new car by now. Let's see, 3 motors, a tranny, a rear, mods, yeah, I could've gotten another car. BTW, I'm not bitching, I love my car like i love the wife. Just she's so damn self centered and demanding! It's not easy with two drama queens under one roof
