Sold my World of Warcraft account

So after quitting World of Warcraft about three months ago, pottering around between advertising it for sale, considerations of playing again, and many failed attempts at reinstalling the game on my computer, I finally sold the account. Here's a screen capture of my PP account for the naysayers:

Yep, got a cool 325 for it

So it's a done deal now; I've had fleeting desires to play every now and then, but now it's for sure, can't get it back.

I know most of you think it's the stupidest thing ever, or nerdiest, or whatever, but I honestly did have an excellent time not only playing the game, but interacting with the friends I made while playing.

And I know there are a few of you on here that play, whether or not you're man enough to admit it like Spaz, so here's some screen shots for you guys (Thumbnailed due to size, 1680x1050 resolution of my desktop):

Name of my character is "Angern" if you're looking at the chat logs. Also, the thumbnail links kinda suck, you have to open the new window, then maximize the reduce picture again to see it well.

I played for 2 years and 1 month. The main character, shown in the screen shots, had a /played time of about 120 days if I remember correctly. Assuming my math is correct, and that I played the same amount of time each day, thats around 6 hours a day for two years.

And no, you won't make a profit. Not only does the subscription cost $15 a month, but you and your Mexican will be competing against warehouses full of farmers in china, who play 18 hours a day just to get three meals and a bed to sleep in. They literally sleep where they work.

Exactly. Even if I hadn't sold the account, it's not like I would be losing anything from playing the game. I've had people say to me "LOL WELL U SPENT ALL THAT MONEY" and I'm like, "So?" People pay for subscriptions to magazines without the intention of reselling them at a later date, hell, most get thrown away. The pleasure comes from reading the articles. Sure, it's not exactly the same (Most notably the storage space difference...), but the fact stands that, as I said before, I paid to play the game and had an excellent experience doing so, which makes me happy enough without the added benefit of being able to sell the account.

There were many other offers mind you, including low ball ones as well as some outrageous ones, but the ones I listed above were ones that were being seriously considered either by myself or a potential buyer.

sorry jerky... i have a life... i play the game and still go out and do other shit... what i love is smacktards that think a game like this makes every one some fat ass pimple faced nerd while you jerk off to playing xbox and ps3...

Congrats on selling your account. I was hella into Starcraft and Diablo 1 and 2 back in the day(like 7yrs ago) but I could never justify paying to play WoW.

-I posted a picture of myself recently, I don't think I look like that but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder
-I quit the game months ago... but only now sold the account. So the trolling should continue as it has been.
