So what did you do at work today?
Tell what you do for a living and what you did today.
I work for my parents and they own their own business. The Business is Pierce Electronics and we handle mostly two-way communications for farmers and public safety however we will put in security systems and telemetry systems for local government buildings such as power plants and hospitals.
Today we drove to Smith Center and put a new LED lightbar, lightbar controller, siren controller, Kenwood TK-7160 radio and a siren in a brand new 2007 Dodge Charger v6. It was probably the smoothest install I have ever been involved in everything went right, for once. Then this after that we went to a farmers house and put a radio in a semi. Got home around seven.
Tomorrow we have to go to Ellsworth, Kansas and put a antenna and a repeater on top of an elevator.

Store manager
I made lists for everyone to work on, pointed out a few things that are wrong to my assistant, got on LS1.com throughout the day, walked around a little bit making sure everyone else was busy while giving everyone else the perception I am busy. Also busted a shoplifter. Sat on my ass the regular amount of time as well

Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour. Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

Great movie
I actually do work, but not near as hard as I did 8 years ago. I can get so much more done by just thinking and keeping everyone busy instead of doing it all myself now.
Office Space is another great work related movie. I usually watch it if I am burned out workwise or just frustrated with employees.

Also work with the 'ol man, doin heating/plumbing/air conditioning. Today was a shitty job, literally. Had to replace about 30' of 4" cast iron sewer line that was plugging up in a small bank with about 6 female employees. Luckily, it went smoother than planned and we got in and out in a hurry. Then I had to go on a gas leak call, found someone who installed a new cookstove had the fitting from the appliance connecter only hand tight in the regulator of the stove, easy fix.
Tomorrow its to the ditches to fix someone elses mistake!

Today was a good day at work
I work for a local supermarket
First I went out to our warehouse to take my mangement test(basically qualifiys me to be a manager) which I am confident that I passed so hopefully with in the next 2 months I will be promoted.
Then I went into work did what I had to then did alittle brown nosing. Our whole store is getting reset so there was about 50 area store mangers and there assistants plus the district manager and vice president of the company there. So I made sure to get my name out, also shot the shit with alot of my old managers that were there.

Black- 2000 TA
Well I sold a few GM crate engines, then I called some venders to get some food stands set up at our display for the car show. Next I got on the phone with the engine builder and told him I need final cost on the engine for our flyer that we need for this weekend. Lastly I called the Graphic designer and told him that I needed the new decals pronto for the show. Gets a little hectic when you do all the GMPP stuff for the dealership.
