Russia does not give a shit about either country, they are using China to get some revenue. Russia should not even be considered, they would not do anything.

Without us, China would crumble, so they also won't do anything. China or North Korea do not have any means to attack us directly, we would crush them both. The only way china can get close enough is with their SSBN's, which are loud. So yeah, we would totally crush them.

Okay - to be more specific. North Korea is too close to China and Russia physically. They do give a shit to a degree what happens in North Korea due to any type of war spilling over in to either of their countries.

Im not sure we would totally cruch them without some loss of life. I mean look at Iraq that war was nothing to intense and look at the brave men and women tht died there what over 5,000 now. Iraq did not even have much of a military compared to what N. Korea has. Now i know the US has one of the most powerful military's in the world but i dont think anyone really knows what we are capalbe of since we have not been in a war that has put up alot of resistince like vietnam. Now this is all my own toughts so i dont want anyone saying i dont know shit which maybe i dont. I just have the most respect for our service men and women and wish them the best.

Iraq is a scary deal. That is what comes with war, death. It is a horrible thing. I am in the Navy, and i have been putting myself up to go IA but i just don't get the chance. I have been in the pool for it but not selected. If you don't think we have the firepower to crush North Korea there is something wrong there. Even if China were to get involved, they don't have much capability to get any kind of jump on us. People scared about them shooting down all our sattelites not happening, what about emp blasts to take out the sattelites, they knock theirs out too. Their only card is SSBN's. I'll be damned if they made it all the way out here with out being caught in a diesel. Neither country has much of a Ballistic missle defense program. Vietnam, is completely different, this is not what would happen here. Iraq was also a new type of warfare for us. This would be a firepower war. I mean hell it could go either way, but if we played our cards right, it would be a missle war.

Now for any of us to know what is going to happen is well, impossible. The fact is right now it would be one sided, we would win if it were to happen in a few years or soon. If we wait and they have time to advance their technology, it would be very scary what would be possible, especially china...there problem is profienciency away from their waters. Regardless this would be a fierce naval battle. Right now though, North Korea is the only problem, they need to be set straight.
