So, My wife (tobe) t-bone a state trooper
Ok, well now that I have everyones attention the title is correct. Yesterday, around 4:15 Kim t-boned a pa state trooper. It happened in the town of quakertown (spaz's new town). She was heading south bound on California road getting ready to go through the T intersection by pumping station road. The state trooper was in front of her. The statey signals to make a left and pulls a massive U turn through the intersection to chase a guy with fake inspection stickers. He did not have his lights on and kim crashed right into the drivers side of the crown vic. Both Kim and the trooper are basically unharmed. She is just sore. Her chest went right into the wheel. She drives a 1991 chevy 1500 ext cab short bed 305 2wd. So she drives a tank!
I got the phone call around 4:25 and I rushed there right away. Once I got to the scene the cop told me right away it was his fault. So that is good. The truck is "driveable" I needed to hook a chain to the bumper and the tow truck to yank it away from the tire. That was fun! But the d/s front fender, hood, bumper and grille are all fucked up. I got pictures on my phone of her truck only. Sorry guys no pics of the cop car it was gone when I got there. I will post the pics up later.
So now I need to wait for the state to call me back to setup an estimate, repair/total, and rental car. If I had to guess the truck is totaled.
If it is totaled I get to go car shopping. But its for HER NOT ME. She wants 1 of 3 cars
1. 3k beater, 4 door automatic something
2. 6k mustang gt automatic 94 or newer (she wants one that is modded)
3. 10k+ small SUV
The above vehicles I can buy 1, 2 with cash no payments, the suv I would need to finance some. I don't want to do that b/c we are getting married on holloween of this year.
I will keep everyone posted with pics and news as things happen.

Damn... that's quite a story. IMO -- she can have whatever she wants after that experience.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
hmmm, that's cool of the cop to admit fault immediately like that. But I thought state vehicles are exempt from insurance claims?

Glad she is ok. If the truck is not driveable buy a beater. Then look for the right car that she really wants.

You got the Trooper's statement in writing correct? You never know the insurance company may try and fuck you and if he's potentially getting in trouble could change his wording. There's a few sue happy cops down here that I've known people having bad experiences from bs accidents.
