So I'm scared shitless!
For the last couple months or so I've been seeing a weird light in my eyes (both eyes) that starts at the bottom and works quickly to the top. Happens with eyes open or shut and happens every 10 minutes or so (I don't time it) Well, I decided to look it up on the internet about 5 minutes ago because this site is slow tonight and found info that could be very very bad. I could have retinal tears which can be fixed with a laser (no eye cutting ) but this shit if not fixed can lead to blindness. Now I don't have vision insurance so this shit will cost a fortune (Rather have eye sight then money so no amount will deter me) I am actually scared and that don't happen every day. Last time I was scared was my 1st day in Afghanistan and it quickly faded. I don't know whats going on, and don't know if I can afford it. Bankruptcy here I come over vision loss. If I go blind I would rather be dead I'm going to call for a eye appointment tomorrow. I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't. SHould have never read the internet shit, but then I might have went blind

Be cool man, it's prolly not that serious. Just get it checked out by a good eye specialist because I would never play games with my eyes.

There are degrees of blindness, you can be 'legally blind" and still see enough to maybe read a book or peep the TV.

Additional coverage sounds good. Doing research on what this will cost, its not near as bad as it sounds. $1000 total for 2 eyes if it turns out to be what my fears are. I called today and get get in early next week for a total eye examine with a picture taken of both retinal areas were they can actually take a full picture of the inside of my eyes $70 which is a walk in the park If it is retinal tears, they go in with a laser and burn the tears shut which can improve vision in 90% of patients. I've wore glasses for 15+ years and just switched to contacts/glasses. Hopefully its nothing major and I won't need anything but all syptoms point to tears from the internet standards Guess I'll find out next week tho
EDIT: Not eye floaters, I have a few. 90%+ have eye floaters, totally different thing

Internet = Great invention but also a major down fall This is one time I hope the internet is "As wrong as 2 boys fucking in the woods"
Thanks for all the support guys, it will be a nerve racking week but I'll let everyone know the outcome.
