So, I'm looking for a Pro Touring 1st Gen Camaro :)
As the title says - I'm looking for a 1st Gen (preferably a '68) Camaro Pro Touring Car.
It might be something along these lines:
Sold Inventory | RK Motors Charlotte | Collector and Classic Cars
I've looked a fair amount around the internet to find what I'm looking for, car-wise, color, fuel injected, etc etc - but I really haven't found exactly what I'm looking for just yet.
So, does anyone here have any other ideas of where to look for such a thing?

Check other forums for someones abandoned project would be my best guess. Labeling a car pro-touring and 'resto mod' anymore are popular habits to boost sales and jack the price, so check their upgrades list and make sure they're not jacking the price up just because of a set of flashy wheels. A lot of people get balls deep in these projects before they realize the real cost of going fast in old iron. Member here reedld has a 78 Trans Am that is super-nice that he got for a damn good deal a few years back that was just that, someones project they needed to sell. LS1, T56, the whole 9 yards. Beautiful car that I'm sure fits the bill when the roads get twisty.

Google search Mark Stielow. And if anyone knows pro touring, it's him. He builds the best pro touring Camaros bar none. I see he wrote a book. I'd buy it if I were you, even if you just want to buy a complete car.

Me and Chris (cpop) took a ride in the Detroit Speed Camaros at GM Carlisle this summer, and ho-ly shit what a ride. 335/18's on all 4 corners and over 700hp on tap with all the suspension goodies and sticky tires. What a rush.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Try this site. Registration is free for the basic membership. As I own a 67 I'm a member there also and I purchased a Gold Lifetime membership. They have a Pro Touring section. Might even see a magazine car or 2 and a few names you might recognize...

Yes, I sure do! I'm considering selling it(but maybe not too), my '67 Nova drag car & my '69 Charger R/T and buying a Pro Touring Camaro.

Glad you still have it. For some reason, I kind of figured that Nova of yours wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. Didn't even know about the Charger. Guess I don't know as much as I thought I did about you Good luck with your search.
