To quit cigerettes, I'm on day 4 which is fine but drinking (one of my triggers

) Is getting to me, that and I have a eye appointment on Tuesday for crap and my Brother is admitted in the hospital for shit (he will be back to normal in a couple days so not a big deal) Seems like shit keeps coming but I keep hitting it back

good job. i was the same way for a long time i only wanted one when i was drinking. for me the best thing i did was just stay away from other smokers and it helped me the most good luck with it.

It became easier after the 2nd week of quitting and its been over 4 years now for me. Just think, you have saved around $24 taxed bucks already. Start a MOD-Piggybank, keep it up you can do it!!

Many of the cities in Texas have passed a no smoking ordinance. You can't smoke inside a business and must stay at least 25ft from the nearest entrance if you want to go outside to smoke.

Drinking was a huge trigger for me too. As a matter of fact, most times that I quit, it was having a beer in one hand that ultimately led to again having a cigarette in the other.

I had to stop drinking to quit smoking. But, I can now have a few drinks and not want a cigarette.

Don't give in. It's worth it

I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!! A whole night of drinking without having one. I am now on day 5. Every other time I tried to quit, drinking would set me back but I made it! If I can make one night, I can make it the rest of my life. Hardest thing I've had to do so far

What does it feel like not to smoke? Never really smoked, couple of times but never understood y college/high schol kids thinks there hot shit if they do it. What does the urge feel like?

For me, I don't get crumpy like some but when I get an urge its all that I think about. I literally can't think of anything else but smoking a cig

It sucks but by the time I drink again, I'll be over a week into it and have one sucessful drinking night down so it should'nt be so bad

get laid like everyday of your life as often as you can then go without.

that uncontrolable angst and desire sucks. I was very very close to choking the living shit out of my boss friday. It seems that when they figure out your trying to stop smoking they try harder to make your life miserable. got home made margaritas with bacardi 151 slammed down 5 in about 2 hours and passed the fuck out. never touched one cigarette and woke up feeling fine.

Holy shit. I now know what it's like for you all who have quit smoking. Stay strong, you can do it. It's the worst thing ever, but you'll get through it.
