I get a bonus every year and I usually don't give her any or much of it. But everyone's situation is different. I handle all the finances except groceries. Other than that she keeps all her pay checks. I even pay her car payment and insurance. We do usually spend some of they money on vacations though.

I give PLENTY to charities and buy gifts for people for their b-day's, Christmas, etc. I also attend several fund-raisers a year and do silent auctions to help the "less fortunate" out.
I am not a selfish asshole lol.
I am just saying - someone willing and able to work just like I am? No free hand-outs from me, sorry. I paid over 35K in taxes last year. I think that's enough in that department...

We have a joint checking and savings, but, we also have separate accounts as well. I take care of all the finances. That is why we both enjoy a credit score in the high 820's. We may be a bit more strapped these days, but, we have excellent credit
