So, the DMV thiks they're SO CLEVER!!!

About a month or two ago I applied for classic tags for my truck. Why? Well, cuz it's a 3/4 ton and registration is $81 a year. Classic tags are $75 once and done, they never expire.

Anyway, I send in 4 pics of the truck, and they tell me REJECTED!

I asked how come. They said because to qualify for classic tags, the vehicle MUST be in stock appearance. My truck has aftermarket rims, and a sunvisor on the cab. Well, I tought this was a total crock

So, I went to the junkyard to look for some stock style wheels to put on it, but found nothing When I got home I noticed my neighbors truck sitting across the street. Same color as mine, and with stock wheels, and no visor. My buddy suggested that I borrow his wheels, but I had a BETTER idea

I went in the house and grabbed the camera and snapped a few pics of his truck. I then parked my truck on the same side of the street, and snapped a few of it. Loaded the pics on the computer and commenced the Photoshopping

After I finished this one I was all proud of myself, and thought, I am gonna have a little fun with the second one. Look carefully at this next set of pics

Do ya see it? TEE HEE The pic of the front of the truck was a little more difficult. I had to take the visor off, and try no to make it look terribly obvious. So I flipped the image of my truck, and took the whole cab off of my neighbor's truck and put it on mine. Look very closely

I even got cocky with the last pic. If you look on the propane tank at the corner of the trailer you will see a small black mark. It actually says in very small letters "this is photoshopped"

I had the pictures printed, and sent them to the DMV with my classic tag application. Two weeks later........I got my registration in the mail!

And my truck looks exactly the same as it did in the first pics...

Hey, F**K THEM! They'll f**k me whenever they get a chance, so now it's MY TURN.....a$$holes

Moral of this story........

THANK GOD FOR PHOTOSHOP!!!!!

Good job. here in Cali you pay extra commercial liscense fees. for trucks if there is no camper shell. WTF....

I have a 66 charger and i'm 21 that being said most owners are a bunch of old farts who due to the growing alzheimers epidemic are stuck in the reagan years and think the government is like a mom that knows whats best for them and they like the teet sucking children they are obediantley obey when the government says pass patriot act for your safety nevermind privacy human rights etc. On a final note I wish for op to post this on there forum for them to read

One last thing I CAN GUARNETEE that most of these ass hats were running something illegal like headers for one before there cars became classics.
