Well, my dad finally heard the question he's been waiting to hear for so long. My daughter finally asked if he could take her to school in his 'Vette. Of course he couldn't say no. So I snapped a few pics while it was out of hibernation from under a car cover in his garage.

It's an L88 hood but could be a variety of SBC or BBC...

Funny thing is my dad, her papa, has asked her several times if he wanted her to take her to school in it but she always said no for some odd reason. lol But yesterday, I geuss she had a need for speed, and she actually asked him.

Very nice! My dad had a 70 LT-1 also in Bridgehampton Blue with a 4 speed. He used to autocross and 1/4 mile race it back in the day. He ran a 13.45 @ 105 with it.
