True. But even after it got traction, it climbed very slowly. Something has to be wrong. Are all LS1's this slow?

My bro's LT1 kills mine 0 to 60. Yes they are both stock. that vid is just a real shitty run. It spun so much it shifted into 2nd too early. After that, it was all over.

SES could have a lot to do with it. LT1s make more low end so they get out the hole a lil better stock for stock

Well - there is a thing called feathering the throttle when wheelspin is happening, and then once you start gaining traction, flooring it again.

did you get a tune or a prgogrammer to set your car straight after installing the 3.23's, that will make the difference, and if you need the driver mod just leave the traction control on, doesn't affect my track time when I go out stays roughly the same.

Hmmm - you might have misunderstood - it sounds to me like his car came with 3.23's in it from the factory.

I didn't know there was a 3:23 option stock for the 98 a4's. But hell, I've been wrong before.

I'm pretty sure you could get either - 2.73's (standard), or 3.23's as an option.

Without a doubt, in a 1994 F-body you could get 3.23's as an option with an A4 car. I definitely remember checking that little box to get those gears.
