sleep
Any1 else have this problem?? For some reason I can NEVER sleep at night. I dont know whats wrong, but i can never fall asleep before 1am. My sleep cycle seems to be fucked up ever since summer vacation, and i have tried everything to put it back into place. I once didnt sleep for 2 days and thought that would work, but after 3-4 days i was back to the same problem??

dude you are not alone. I used to go to sleep around 2am everynight which was ok because I work evening shifts, but for the last 2 months I been falling asleep around 6-7 am. Its horrible because I wake up when its light outside and fall to sleep when its light outside and its fucking winter with shorter daytime.
So far the only thing that works for me is tylenol PM (2 tablets) I would fall asleep with in 2 hours, but the problem is that it makes me so tired that I am forced to sleep for 10-12 hours and that brings me back to square one.

You are not alone. Ambien helps greatly.

I feel you. I go to bed at 3am, fall asleep at 4am, wake up at 8am, watch the news in bed, and get out of bed at 10am. It sucks.

what I tend to do... is just lay in bed...even if I ain't sleepy at all... and just thinking about stuff... until eventually it snaps into sleep...
usually have to get up at 6am and end up falling sleep at like 1am....

something i heard one time...but this will only work if you have a lot of time on your hands...like weeks for instance.
if you lay down at 10pm and can't fall asleep until 2am simply go to bed at 2am...and then each nite thereafter go to bed one hour later...3am...4am...5am...etc until you get around to 10pm. this will reset your bodies clock for that time. i've never tried it myself but apparently it works.

I had that problem for a long ass time, even though I was only getting like three hours before I had to get up, I still could never fall asleep. Tried the staying up for 48 hours thing, which is really really hard. I found the overall solution was to rid myself of "sleeping". I hardly ever use my bed anymore, instead of trying to go and sleep for like 8 hours a day, I do several naps during the day. Couch and floor are awesome. Get home from work, nap till I wake up in like forty minutes, do something, nap some more. I've felt great since the change.
I got tired of being tired all day until it was time to sleep then nothing. I get significally less sleep than reccommended but more than what I used to.
