Since everyone loves cops, ever run from one?
Lots of cop talk here lately, so figured lets see who ever ran from the cops in their cars...
When I was 19 I had a 93 z28, partial graduation present. I was driving through downtown, light at every block and larger buildings lined the streets. So every light I was spinning tire and the tires on the car would make a loud screeching sound which would echo very loudly. Well I passed a cop as I was doing a burnout. I saw the lights flick on and I gunned it. I was doing about 75-80 in a 25 zone, year I know dumb, but I was young and stupid... There a train crossing at the end of the main street and I hit it doing 80 and jumped with sparks flying from underneathe, made a few turns and pulled in a friends back yard shut off the lights and ran inside. I saw the cop driving around a few times, but never saw my car and I avoided going into town for a while after that. But the was pretty much the last time I ever did burnouts anywhere like that.

I don't run. But I have met a few who use profanity in uniform and cops who know my folks have ALWAYS told me to NEVER use profanity if I become an LEO as I would ruin my town and department's reputation and cause distrust between the public and my department. My cousin and her fiancee(both Feds) made me promise to keep out of trouble and if I witness an LEO berading folks to let my cousin know and they would handle it. Right now there is an investigation with one of the neighboring towns because they keep an antagonistic prick on the force despite numerous complaints and he crossed me. I have heard this guy's entire family are nothing but problems.

Yep, sure have. Last 6 speed was on a back-road leading into town. Late, maybe 2am on a VERY early sunday morning. Speed limit was 35 and I had the cruise control at 38mph. Was in 5th gear and a cop rolls by (2 lane road), hits his brakes. So I look for it... look for it... yep, he TRIES to turn around but the road was pretty narrow at the section in which we crossed, so he gamme PLENTY of time to downshift and roll out. Long story short, I made 3 turns, and at each turn I made, I looked back to only see his headlights at the last turn I came from. Parked the car in a wal-mart parking lot, and right before I entered the building, I saw him strolling through. Funny part was, I looked right at him, as I walked inside, just laughing.
Honestly I wouldn't have ran if I hadn't had beer on my breath. I was definately sober, but the readings never turn out that way. Ah well, don't play that stupid shit anymore, but it certainly made for good story time like this
