the simpsons movie.....

Don't know if someone has talked about this yet but imma give it a go being that i jus went and saw it today finally. I thought it wasnt bad, but I'd be lying if I said I thought it was great. I was a lil dissapointed. The whole theme of the movie was kinda weak compared to some of the brilliant tv episodes they've had. They didnt sneak in enough jokes either. I didn't have any moments where I was laughing so hard my sides hurt. In short I could've waited for dvd to be honest. They could have done a lot more with it considering it was almost 2 hrs long.

I thought it was just about as good as the regular episodes on tv. Nothing too special. I still thought it was pretty funny though. I do live in AK so I might be a bit biased (for those who have seen the movie).

the movie was a huge disapointment. Simpsons have gone downhill bigtime since the first 5 seasons. Not near as funny as in the beginning.

I love the TV simpsons and i'm sad to hear your guy's reviews, i was hoping not to be dissapointed when i so eventually see it.

It was definitely funny, but just like a long episode. I was told to download it before going to see it in theaters, they were definitely right. Like someone else said, go see Superbad if you want a fuckin hilarious movie.
