Silverado 2500

I'm looking to buy a 3/4 ton truck in the states... trouble is this is my first time looking for a truck and I was wondering if there are any big sites worth looking through... all I have at my disposal is auto trader... but I'd like to see more... any inputs are appreciated...

if anyone has a 2500hd 2002-05 with low mileage for sale please let me know

cars.com is always good, should find lots of them up north, I would go duramax diesel but stay 04 I think or newer cause of injector troubles.

The 6.0l 2500HD is a great motor, but I agree with Dan and if I had to buy a new one I would buy the diesel.

Also try the enthusiast site's for sale sections like http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/ etc

The 'word on the street' has been that the '03's are the best Duramax's up until the latest ones.

they upped the warranty to 200,000 miles and will replace the injectors for free but that is the only problem I have heard of. I have an uncle in the Irrigation business that has had an 03 05 06 and early 07. the 03 had some troubles but I think it was just a lemon. all of these were ext cab 1 ton duallies with flatbeds.
