Signs of the Economic Times...
I took these two pictures last Sunday while I was driving to the tattoo parlor.
You know we're in trouble when gas is almost $9 a gallon* and fast food joints charge for extra sauce and dressing
*I know it's not $9 a gallon, the station probably just reset their computer or something.

I went there for two reasons...1. I am getting "Last of the Breed" and "1967 - 2002" added to the Screaming Chicken that is already on my back. 2. I'm trying to figure out where to get as my second tattoo...it is either going on my side between my ribs and my waist or on my lower leg. I want it on my lower leg, but that is going against my better judgement of keeping my tattoos underneath work cloths all the time (shorts are allowed during the summer).

People did help themselves ALOT and snagged extra sauces and stuck them in their pockets.
I watched a woman stuff her handbag with BBQ sauces at Famous Daves.. So much so that there wasn't any left for me and the guy behind me..
When I asked if she minded leaving some.. I got some Eubonic version " F You Mutha etc etc with a few If I wans sum dayum sauzez Ahz gonna git sum dayum sauzez an y'all kin jess shut the fock up bout it.. .."
So I sorta agree with charging for extras, hell they give you a few for free with the meal ya ?
To the OP, that's a good eye to catch the sign and to get a snap shot of it ) I bet, someday, we will look back and say I wish gas was only 9.00 a gallon.. Hell, I remember saying "78 cents a pack God Damn !! If these things (Marlboro's) hit a buck, I am quitting...) I have quit, but the sumbitchs were 5 bucks a pack then.

this one time in my area a gas station messed up and 89 octane was like .43 cents a gallon. someone messed up BIG TIME, it was right before they were gonna close for the night, a couple of friends and i RACED over to fill up, it was awesome i filled my tank for like 5$, its sad but that was one of my greatest moments ever anyway thats my gas story!
ps- 92-93 is already up to 2.75 around here, here we go with the gas prices going UP!

I think extra sauce should just be free, they make enough money with all the meals they sell, hell its like 7 bucks to eat at a fast food now. It should be free under the guise that some asshole isnt gonna just take 400 of em. Keep em behind the counter, but dont bitch at me when i ask for 4 of em. Some lady bitched at me cause i asked for a bunch and she gives me 1 and im like, ok i can do 3 fries with that lol I dunno, i just remember being 12 yrs old and the supplies of BBQ sauce at a fast food place was infinite.

I have to laugh at the term "FREE" that gets used so often by so many businesses and product labels. Those sauces you guys are talking about were never really "free". Anytime you have to make a purchase to get the "free" stuff guess what!? It is'nt free. Example: when a package say's something such as: "20% more FREE", can you just take out the 20% and put the rest back? NO you can't you have to buy it first. That sign that reads: "25.cents for this and .50 cents for that", is just their way of making sure they get more money for something you've already payed for. Take the price you pay for a shit ass fast food hamburger and compare it to the same burger made at home. If you were to make a burger the same size they do (just the burger) you'd find that your ground meat would go x2 farther or more. Figure out how much it costs you to make them yourself. I would'nt be surprised to find the "fast food" burger is somewhere near 200-500% over the home made burger so the "sauces" were payed for many times over. So to the "free" issue, forget it! Nothing is ever really free. You pay for it one way or another........
