    Sick/Work

OK so how many times do you call into work sick in a year, and when you call do you try to act real sick and feel guilty afterwards? I do it right when I wake up before any1 gets there and leave a voicemail, and yes I do feel guilty but I only do it twice a year, lol.

At my work I don't need to give a reason. I just call ans say I'm not coming in today and no I don't feel guilty at all.

At my first job (lifeguard), I never called in sick, didn't need to.

At my second job (worked at theater), I called in sick once an hour before my 9am to 6pm shift. The manager told me to find someone else to fill my shift. It was mostly high schoolers, and it was during the summer, so the few who were awake didn't want to. So I worked eight hours with a 103 fever. Lucky for me I wasn't sick again while I worked there.

Know what I would have said to your manager?
Your 18, unless you plan on managing that theater one day... realize that high school jobs are bullshit jobs and are completely dispensable.
