As a general rule they are better communicators than most housecats. Even when I was a kid (back in the 1960s), my neighbor had a pair of them and they would make different sounds like they were talking to her. She claimed to be able to tell what they were asking.
They are also generally known to be smarter than the average tabby.2002 Street ET Champion New England Dragway

I had a Siamese for about 12 years. When I started smoking weed, I used to put it in a brown paper bag and smoke some weed and then exhale into the bag.
It seemed to like it.
I attribute this to its longevity.

My uncle has two siamese cats, and my dad had a few when he was younger. Both of them said they are smarter than normal cats, like tnt said.

They're loud.
Are you planning to breed them and sell the registered kittens? If not, save yourself some $$ and just get some free mixed Siamese or domestic shorthairs.

great cats. from what i know, you should get two, cause they tend to become neurotic if they're lonely. human company doesn't really count... and like the others said: very smart. a woman i now had a brik in front of her fridge, so the cats couldn't open it...........

06 PBM GTO(458WHP)SOLD!!- 06 TR GTO~476WHP 425TRQ
I had 1 male siamese cat when i was little.....that mutherfucker was the meanest animal ive ever seen.......if you made eye contact with it, it would hunch down and attack you!!!! It put me in the hospital twice.......my dad would get home and throw it against the wall when it tore me up. Then finally he went to throw it against the wall and it went out the window......never saw it again. His name was TAZ and i locked him in the fridge on a regular....cause that was the only place he couldnt get me!
