Reminds me a bit of mine. Just a tree, a fake, pre-lit tree...with 400 white lights and nothin' else. It's very sparse, but how I look at it is the less I put on, the less I have to take down.

We keep it up in the rafters in the garage. The box is huge, heavy and awkward. Husband has been off work for months, finally got approved for major back surgery that he had on 10/31 and I didn't want him chancing hurting himself even more before surgery and there is no way in hell I could get it down myself. So, we just decided that this year we'd go without.

    Feels weird

But, on the positive side, I don't have to go through the hassle of decorating the house, the tree, and then packing it all up again a month later

The one neighbor on our left just got diagnosed with cancer. Very sad. Great guy in his 60's. The other side, he just moved in. Don't really know him that well and he's also, I would guess in his 60's. Seems we're the youngsters in the hood these days

My son was going to come down from NV on Thanksgiving, but those plans fell through. So...
