I think the Redskins should do what they and their fans think they should. I personally think we as a society are too worried about stepping on anyones toes. I remember when I was in the 3rd grade and our soccer team was the warriors with two feathers on the shirt. We had to remove the feathers from the shirts or some BS like that. The Bullets name was changed (to The Wizards) for lame reasons.

Of course I think the Redskins name should stay. There was a user comment somewhere claiming that "Redskins" was sort of named after white people in Boston who painted their skin red to disguise themselves, but whatever. At this point, probably nobody uses "Redskins" as a slur against Native Americans.
