Should I sell my 01 gtp for an 04 audi a4??

I never understood questions like this. You either want the A4 or you dont know. Only you know whether or not you are tired of the GTP etc. Why exactly are you considering the Audi? status?

Aren't you like 17? Get the Audi. The gtp looks boring and outdated, begging for an old man to drive it. Chicks will dig the Audi way more than that grocery getter. Buy it.

Not to mention excluding engine performance, that audi is lightyears a better car overall. But a 17 should be happy having an 01 GTP imo Dont need an audi at 17.

The whore wife had an 04 A4 vert, it sucked. Stupid gold digging bitches will be more impressed by it than the GTP. Just make sure you can afford the maintenance and repairs on the Audi

I have a 01 S4, but basically the same car. I like it quite a bit. Maintenance is expensive though when it comes up. I also had a GTP back in the day, comparing the two, I prefer the audi over the GTP, more dependable with my experience with both.

I wouldn't buy an Audi or a VW just knowing how much parts & maintainance cost and the fact that most parts aren't in stock for either vehicle. If you are going to buy a European car be prepared for your cost to maintain to almost double compared to domestic.
Why not look into 3 series BMWs the straight 6s are great for performance, longevity and if you want a "status" car there ya go. 00-03 BMWs can be found for $7k-$10k pending year milage etc.

With 9k you can buy a hell of a nice TA or a decent SS. Probably around a 99-00 model.

The emblem makes all the difference

as suggested before look into parts and maintenance cost. My dad worked at a v-dub/Porsche/Audi place in the parts department for a while back in the 80's. Prices were
insane then and can't be any better now.
