Should I (Finance my Vette for my brother)?
My brother and I was talking today. We went to a few dealers and he really can't afford the interest rate they quoted (16+)... So we kinda was talking and threw an idea out there. He needs a more reliable car and mind is miles ahead of his. I am in a better financial situation, I can do this.
Basically I sell him my corvette for $6,500.
He sells me his 01 Ford Focus ZX3 -1,250 (Pretty much give me, and take off)
He puts down between +1,000-1,500
He pays the remaining balance of $3750-4,250 (At $200-250 a month)
So he gets a more reliable car, I pretty much make a hair profit on the Vette. I get a POS, either I will replace the engine or part the car out. If I do, I am going to paint it flat black and tint the windows darker then shit... Ugly POS... Plus, I as we was at the dealer. I test drove two cars I am interested in, Solstice and G8 GT. I think by then, I will have enough to put half down on a used one.
PS: His Focus runs and drives, just not well. Looking at prices of engines, not really worth me trying to rebuild it. So fuck that option, unless it really does not cost much to "build it up"... It's a thought, that I would more then likely part it out to get that portion back (Hell maybe make a penny).
Also, if he does not pay me back. The tittle stays in my name till paid for. If he does not pay, and falls behind 3-5 months. I take the Vette back and keep everything, unless he pays to get caught up...
Plus, now that my Falcon is running good now. I may start driving that allot more.
So what do you guys think?

He owes me a $100, that he is giving back to me this weekend... I paid almost half his semesters tuition. He always pays me back, slow but surely.
Plus, I am going to be able to order direct from his store supplies. So I will get all my shit for cheap.
Amsoil
K&N
Porn
Sex Toys
Plus other shit... That I may try and resale on forums...

Another thing to consider, most the reasons I have to loan him money. Is because the car, so with that gone... It's one less hassle. Witch I will more then likely part out.

Does the profit made cover the cost of a vasectomy? If so I would advise you to go through with the deal and then get the vasectomy. It will be a win-win situation

So your saying I should not help my brother out? I am thinking, will have to lower the Focus price to $1,000 looking at prices of them... But why should I not help my brother out? That he may not pay me back? We already talked about that and he agrees that it's fair on taking it back. It's just a thought not saying anything is set in stone.

I found this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=220535613297
Tempting, if I was to get the Fungus. Drop a new engine and should be good to go. While in there fix the electrical shit (car has 170,000 miles). I e-mailed them to see about a discount if I drive down there and pick it up and possibly see if they do a core discount... Even if not, a new motor for under a $1,000 may make this worth while.

I understand that, I just figured one person would be understanding... He's missed enough classes because of this.
But I just located a brand new transmission for $600 shipped to my door (It's built by Ford), so hell new engine/transmission for $1,500... Hmmm, be a hell of a good beater that get 30 mph. Then I can enjoy my 63 Falcon with the top down when it's not raining and pocket the rest and buy that 3/4 Acre lot down the street from me...
