i'm tring to make since of this. right now i'm pissed over the fact she knows i dont want her getting a tattoo. her reasion is it's her body she will do as she wants with it, fine i agree, thats true.

but she knowingly is going to get one knowing how i feel about it.. what does that say?

we have been together 5 years, i dont ever tell her what to do, i'm not her boss. to me it's more then just the tattoo. she knows how i feel and she's going to get it anyway, that to me says she does'nt really care how i feel about it.

so am i being a bitch over the whole thing or no? imo tattoos are ugly, thats me. but it's the reasion behind the tattoo i'm all worked up about.

so please, if i'm being a bitch say so. if not let me know what you think.

I wouldn't use the word "Bitch" but I would say a little over the top. It's kind of shitty that she pretty much said "Fuck you" and got the tattoo but it is her body like she said. If it were to be a nasty tattoo and large then I would be all for you but music notes on the foot is pretty mild.

Me personnally don't mind a few (Just a couple) tats on a woman. If my girl was going to go out and get full sleeves or some shit like that, I would politely tell her then I'm gone.

If she went ahead and did it, then she wants the tats more then me

Unless the music notes have some kind of "fuck you" meaning between the two of you, then you could have some ground for where you stand.

Example: the guy she dated before you, fell in love with, was in a band or some shit and got her hugely into music and she never got over him cause he treated her like a groupie and this could be a tribute to him. Then, yeah, that's fucked up of her

i see where you're going. she has one already, on her neck i cant see much at all. it's actually pretty, but i just dont want one turning into two, which it has and then turning into 3+

Ex GF had tats on both her feet. First time I ever heard my mom say she likes them since she hates mine. But to the OP if she wants them then she wants them. Nothing you can really do. You force her to not get them then she will just resent you and it will probably end your relationship. Plus like the others said it could be worse.
